This activity is to consolidate your knowledge of place value, specifically reading writing, ordering and comparing numbers to one million.
When reading numbers, we say the thousands first, then the rest of the number.

When writing numbers, we need to remember to include a comma for every three columns. This helps to break the number up and make it easier to read.
Example
Three hundred and thirty-two thousand, nine hundred and twenty-six.

When ordering or comparing numbers, we need to recall our place value knowledge to help us decide which is the smallest/largest.
When the numbers have the same number of digits, we start from the column with the highest value - the column furthest to the left.
Example
Which is larger: 453,654 or 453,564?
Answer
We can see that both are 6-digit numbers that have 453 thousands.
Therefore, we look at the next column to the right - the hundreds column.
The first number has a 6 in the hundreds column and the second number has a 5.
So, 453,654 is larger than 453,564.
