When we proofread our work, we are looking at our spelling, punctuation and our word choices.
We can then make edits to our work to improve it and make it the best it can be.
In this activity, we will be looking for these mistakes:
Spellings - check tricky words and spelling mistakes.
Punctuation - use of full stops, question marks and exclamation marks correctly.
Capital letters - used for names of people and places, to start the sentences and for the word ‘I’.
When you think you’ve spotted all the mistakes, re-read the sentences one more time, just to make sure there aren’t any mistakes you’ve missed.
After this, you’ll be a proofreading pro!
