Use Directions to Identify 2D Shapes

In this activity, we will practise naming 2D shapes and use words such as above, below, right and left.

Take a look at the chart below.

The blue triangle is to the left of the grey square.

The red circle is two places to the right of the yellow star and below the green triangle.

Can you see that?

What shape do you think is below the green triangle?

That's right - it is the red circle.
