We have five senses - they are sight, sound, smell, touch and taste.
Each sense is in a different part of our body.
We use our eyes for seeing things.
We use our ears for hearing things.
We use our nose for smelling things.
We use our mouth and tongue for tasting things.
We use our hands for touching and feeling things.
Each of our senses sends messages to our brain through receptor cells using our nervous system to deliver them.
This activity will help you to think about how our senses work.
