Organise Writing into Paragraphs

When we read a longer text, we can often notice that it has been broken into paragraphs. 

Paragraphs make longer texts easier to read.  They are a group of sentences that are connected by being about a similar topic.

Paragraphs are usually separated by a missing line.

Paragraphs are used in both fiction and non-fiction.

Writers start a new paragraph when they begin to write about a new topic, or if the writing has changed time or place.  This makes the text easier to understand.

Let's look at some paragraphs in the questions that follow and try to identify their topics.
