Know Your Nouns: Singular and Plural

A noun (a person, place or object) can be either singular or plural.

If a noun is singular it means that there is only one of them.

For example: puppy, boy 

If it is plural it means that there is more than one.

For example: puppies, boys  

Most plural nouns end in -s, but not all of them!

Some exceptions are children, sheep and women
