In this activity, we are going to use apostrophes to indicate possession.
One way in which apostrophes are used is to show possession, which means who something belongs to.
For example:
'the dog's bone' = the bone belonging to the dog
Sometimes, the thing being owned can be a little hard to spot.
For example: my dad's idea. The 'idea' doesn't exactly belong to dad, but it did come from him!
