Quadrilaterals are closed shapes with four sides.
A parallelogram has two pairs of parallel sides and two pairs of sides of equal length.
A rhombus is a type of parallelogram with two pairs of parallel sides and four sides of equal length.
An isosceles trapezium has two acute and two obtuse angles.
It also has two sides of equal length and one pair of parallel sides.
A right-angled trapezium has a right angle.
A kite has two pairs of equal-length sides. None of its sides are parallel.
This activity is going to give us lots of practice in identifying different types of quadrilaterals.
