When we count in multiples of ten, it is usually just the tens digit that we need to change.
10 more than 75 is 85
The 7 digit becomes an 8 (80)
The ones digit doesn't change.
10 less than 43 is 33
The 4 digit becomes a 3 (30)
We can see that the ones digit doesn't change.
Don't forget that the hundreds digit will change when we are counting ten more than 90
This will become 100.
10 more than 295 is 305
295 (200 + 90 + 5) + 10 = 305 (300 + 00 + 5)
