Count in Powers of Ten

In this activity, you will be asked to count either forwards or backwards in steps of powers of 10.

When counting in steps of powers of 10, only one digit in the number will be altered.

For example, when adding 1,000 only the digit in the 1,000 place of the number will change.

All the other digits will remain the same.

13,456 + 1,000 = 14,456
