Look at these words:
sea the is at boat
They don't make sense like this, do they?
But we can swap them around so they do make sense like this.
the boat is at sea
Then of course, we need to add a capital letter and a full stop so we get a proper sentence.
The boat is at sea.
This sentence now tells us what we see in the picture It makes sense and is punctuated properly. Yay!
A sentence must always make sense and have the correct punctuation.
We need to use a capital letter for the first letter of the first word of each sentence.
In this example, the first word is 'the' and the first letter is 't' which needs to be the capital letter.
The full stop comes after the last word.
In this example, the last word is 'sea', so the full stop goes after the word 'sea'.
The boat is at sea.
