If this spinner was spun there would be 8 possible outcomes.

What can we do with this information?

50p coinone die

Answer

Outcomes include heads and 1, heads and 2 ...etc

For each number on the dice 1-6, we can get heads or tails on the coin.

The number of outcomes = 2 x 6 = 12
