Worksheet Overview

When there is more than one of something, it is called a plural.

To turn a word into a plural, we usually need to add an -s or -es.

For many words, we can just add an -s.

For example:

mug - mugs

boot - boots

coin - coins

child wearing red wells

However, for words ending in s, ch, sh, ss, x or z, we need to add -es.

fox - foxes

brush - brushes

watch - watches

a fox

Let's have a go at turning some words into plurals.
