Add or Subtract 0.001

In this activity, we will be adding or subtracting 0.001

When adding or subtracting decimals, the most important thing to remember is to line up the decimal points. Having done that, we can fill in any empty spaces with zeros. Just remember to remove any unnecessary zeros from your answer!

4.299 + 0.001 = 4.300 = 4.3

6 - 0.001 = 6.000 - 0.001 = 5.999
