Adjectives are words we use to describe nouns.

 

The big ball.
The blue ball.
The little ball.  

 

Sometimes we want to say that one thing is different to another. This is called comparing things. We can use -er or -est to help us compare

 

The old boat.
The older boat.
The oldest boat.

 

In this activity, we will learn how to add these different endings to compare different things.
